Rachel's Story...Part 2 As you can see, Rachel was all excited going to have a 'fit on' of her new dress. Liz, from Celtic Yarns pinned the dress on making sure all measurements were correct and lengths were correct too. Final preparations went into the makin of the 'shawl' for the back of the dress along with consultation on what type of headband Rachel wanted. Once everyone was happy, Tony and his team went to work to complete the dress on time for the Feis Rachel was attending soon.
After all the necessary alterations were carried out, Rachel went along with her mum Karen to pick up her dress. Both Rachel and her mum was delighted with the finished costume and Rachel couldn't wait to get the dress on at the next Feis. As you can see from the slide show, Rachel looked like a princess on the day with her new costume and couldn't wait to take to the stage. Happy ending to Rachel's story...... Rachel won the Open Championship and was even more delighted that she had to wear her new costume the very next day at the 'Parade of Champions' Rachel's parents were delighted that they had chosen 'Celtic Yarns' for Rachel's very first solo costume and were extremely happy with the service they received from Tony and his team from the very first visit. Rachel's mum Karen commented " It is very difficult to imagine how the costume was going to turn out but we knew we were in 'safe hands' at chosing Celtic Yarns as dressmakers due to their vast experience in this field. We are all delighted with the dress and everyone thought Rachel looked like a princess. More importantly, Rachel loved it and she now wants a tiny version of her solo dress to be made for her doll"
